Merry Christmas!

Justin and I started out Christmas weekend at his parents' house in North Prairie, WI. We spent most of Thursday shopping and then joined the family for a Mexican dinner before heading out to Milwaukee. Justin, true to form, planned a get together for his high school friends and they were well represented! Justin and I had a great time.

This was my first Christmas away from home and Justin's family made it very special. However, I did miss being at home counting Christmas lights and signing carols with everyone.

We ended up opening our presents on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a leisurely Christmas day, with a ham linner and Meet the Fockers. I had been disappointed that it hadn't snowed much leading up to Christmas, but it has snowed lightly all day and everything looked beautiful tonight.
